The meeting on employment and vocational training of IDPs was chaired by Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, the Ministry of Economy, the State Employment Service, Oshchadbank, regional military administrations, and other agencies and organizations.
Among other things, the meeting participants discussed draft governmental acts on employment of IDPs.
In particular, the interlocutors discussed a possible increase in the amount of remuneration for work performed under the government's Army of Recovery project to 1.5 times the minimum wage.
The participants considered regulatory changes to expand the opportunities for IDPs to receive a voucher for education. We are talking about vouchers for free retraining or advanced training. In particular, they considered the possibility of applying for a voucher through Diia.
In addition, the possible extension of the period of compensation to employers for hiring IDPs was discussed.
