On February 4, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleg Uruskyi visited two enterprises of the region as part of a working trip to Kharkiv region: JSC Scientific Research Institute of Radio Engineering Measurements and SE Kharkiv Design Bureau of Engineering named after O.O. Morozov.

"A number of current issues related to the organization of cooperation and implementation of joint projects on rocket and space issues were discussed with the management of the Institute. In particular, the issue of fulfilling the task of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to launch the Sich-2-30 (2-1) remote sensing satellite into orbit this year," Oleg Uruskyi said.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the research institute is a leading institution in the field of development, design and production of electronic equipment, including ground and airborne systems, devices for space complexes, high-precision trajectory measurement systems for rocket and space technology, control systems and more.

On a visit to the State Enterprise Kharkiv Design Bureau of Engineering named after O.O. Morozov, Oleg Uruskyi checked the readiness of serial production of more than 70 BTR-4 armored personnel carriers, noting that their production takes place within the framework of the State Defense Order of Ukraine to satisfy the demands of the Armed Forces.

"During the visit to the enterprise, I had two tasks: to verify the readiness of the state defense order and to discuss with specialists and employees the problems that currently exist in the production of this kind of equipment," said the Deputy Prime Minister.

Oleg Uruskyi said that during a visit to the east, to the JFO zone, the military commented on the operation of these armored personnel carriers. Today, the Deputy Prime Minister together with the leadership of the Design Bureau named after O. Morozov considered the ways to eliminate flaws as well as methods to improve armored personnel carriers.

"I believe that with the proper organization of the work of all participants in the production process we will manage to timely fulfill the defense order for this equipment. In the end, we have to ensure that the tasks set by the customer are performed with quality and in a timely manner," the Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine summed up.
