During a visiting session in Chernihiv region, the Government has approved the transfer of a number of property complexes to the communal ownership of communities. According to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, they will be used to equip outpatient clinics.

"Decentralization reform is bearing fruit: more and more communities are becoming more sustainable and wealthier, and they are constantly improving their living space and services. The transfer of property to the communal ownership of the communities of Chernihiv region will help them to improve the quality of medical services," the Head of Government said.

The Prime Minister also noted that the Government is interested in building sustainable regions throughout the country. To this end, the State Regional Development Strategy until 2027 was approved.

"This is one of the fundamental documents and guidelines for achieving our goal. Today we approve the Action Plan for two years, which sets out clear tasks and measures to implement the relevant strategy," said Denys Shmyhal.

According to the Head of Government, the Plan includes more than 200 measures in various directions.

"These are, for example, such important initiatives as improving the legal conditions for the development of rural tourism, developing an online platform for monitoring and evaluating the development of regions and communities, increasing the availability of medical care using telemedicine, etc.," said the Prime Minister.
