  • Gov’t appoints 11 new ministers

    At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Government appointed 11 new deputies to their ministers.

    Minister of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture Tymofii Mylovanov got three deputies: first Deputy Minister Pavlo Kukhta, Deputy Minister Taras Vysotsky, and Deputy Minister, Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka.

    One Deputy Minister each were appointed to:

    Minister for Veterans Affairs, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons - Deputy Minister Oleksandr Tereshchenko;

    Minister of Finance - Deputy Minister Hennadii Plis;

    Minister for Community and Territory Development - Deputy Minister Eduard Krugliak.

    Two Deputy Ministers were appointed to the following ministers:  

    Minister of Education and Science - Peter Korzhevsky and Yehor Stadnyy;

    Minister of Social Policy - Oleh Koval and Serhii Nizhynskyy.

    First Deputy Minister was appointed to Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov. Oleksiy Vyskub was appointed to this post.

    The participants of the meeting also agreed on the dismissal of seven deputy ministers as well as personnel appointments in the regions.
