The Government has fixed a supplement for the remuneration of veterans' support specialists. It has been established that such specialists are paid a bonus for the special nature of their work in the amount of up to 50 per cent of their official salary for the actual time worked.
A resolution on some issues of remuneration for specialists supporting war veterans and demobilised persons was adopted today at a Government meeting.
The document proposes to add a new position to Section XLIII "Social and Rehabilitation Services" of Annex 2 to Resolution No. 1298 of 30 August 2002 - "Specialist in Support of War Veterans and Demobilised Persons".
The specific amount of the allowance for such employees will be determined by the head of the relevant institution, establishment or organisation. It will depend on the workload, timeliness and quality of services provided, as well as whether complaints are absent.
The draft resolution was developed by the Ministry of Economy. The issue was discussed at meetings on veterans' policy chaired by Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
The implementation of the act will create legal grounds for determining the remuneration conditions for specialists who provide support to war veterans and demobilised persons.
