On February 14, 2023, during a meeting of the Government, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a draft resolution “On the signing of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of Romania on the mutual recognition of educational documents”.

Signing of the Agreement will facilitate mutual understanding on the recognition, at various levels, of educational documents issued in Ukraine and Romania, as well as documents confirming periods of study in Ukraine and Romania.

The Agreement applies to educational documents issued by recognized accredited educational institutions of both countries in accordance with their respective laws.

Stakeholders include applicants to higher education institutions, students, postgraduates, and employees in various fields of activity.
