Ukraine expects remaining EU accession negotiating clusters to open by the end of the year: Sergii Koretskyi
Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi held a telephone conversation with EU Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos. The parties discussed in detail the progress of Ukraine’s accession negotiations with the European Union.
“We expect the remaining negotiating clusters to open by the end of the year,” Sergii Koretskyi said.
The Government and Parliament are working together to accelerate the consideration and adoption of the relevant legislation as part of Ukraine’s commitments on European integration and under the Ukraine Facility.
Funding was also discussed during the conversation.
“It is critical for Ukraine to begin developing solutions now that will secure the resources needed to finance budgetary and defence expenditure in 2026–2027,” the Prime Minister emphasised.
Sergii Koretskyi thanked Marta Kos for her steadfast support for Ukraine’s European path.
