“The ongoing full-scale war has significantly increased the need for vehicles for the rapid evacuation of victims. At the same time, our medical infrastructure is constantly under fire and attack from the russian army. So far, more than 500 ambulances have been destroyed, damaged or captured by the enemy. We are grateful to the Korean government and personally to Ambassador Kim Hyung-tae for supporting our medical system and providing assistance. These ambulances will help our heroic medics continue to save lives under any circumstances,” said Viktor Liashko, Minister of Health of Ukraine.
Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Korea has repeatedly helped Ukraine’s healthcare system by sending vaccines, medical devices, and medicines.
