Ukraine receives EUR 2.3 billion from EU as sixth regular tranche under Ukraine Facility
Today, Ukraine has received EUR 2.3 billion from the European Union as the sixth regular tranche under the Ukraine Facility programme. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
“This is the result of systematic work by the Government. To receive the funds, Ukraine has fulfilled eight reform steps for the sixth tranche, as well as one additional step under the fourth. In total, we have already successfully implemented more than 60 measures of the Ukraine Plan – this is confirmation of our commitment to reforms and the European course,” emphasised Yulia Svyrydenko.
In total, since the start of the full-scale war, the European Union has provided Ukraine with EUR 70.7 billion in financial support. Of this, EUR 26.7 billion is within the Ukraine Facility, over EUR 10.6 billion is in 2025, and the total amount of EU financial assistance this year has already exceeded EUR 28.7 billion.
The Prime Minister stressed that these funds enable the state to support the economy and ensure social and macro-financial stability amid the war.
“We are grateful to the European Union and all our partners for their consistent support of Ukraine,” emphasised Yulia Svyrydenko.
