On May 20, 2022, the Ministry of Education and Science hosted a meeting chaired by Deputy Minister Vira Rohova on improving the use of distance technologies in the system of preschool, school, extracurricular and inclusive education.

The meeting was attended by representatives of state and scientific institutions, international organizations, Kyiv Regional Institution of Postgraduate Education, Department of Education and Science of Lviv Regional State Administration, National Academy of Pedagogical Sciences and representatives of private distance education institutions.

In her introductory speech, Vira Rohova spoke about the key challenges of organizing children's education during martial law.

According to the Deputy Minister, the issues of regulatory support, public-private partnership, the content of distance education and teacher training and financing of distance education need urgent attention and solutions.

The participants of the meeting supported the concepts of Vira Rohova, drew attention to the urgency of the stated issues, proposed to create groups in the voiced areas and stressed the importance of creating common approaches to distance education.

It will be recalled that the MInistry of Education and Science team has compiled a list of remote platforms for training, self-development and assistance and verified information.
