Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine, Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov met with Florian Herrmann, Head of the State Chancellery and State Minister for Federal Affairs of the Free State of Bavaria, in Munich.

"Bavaria is one of Ukraine's key partners in Germany, and we appreciate its openness to dialogue and joint projects," said Oleksiy Chernyshov.

During the meeting, the officials discussed support for Ukrainians, opportunities for their integration and maintaining ties with their homeland.

They also focused on the work of the Ministry of National Unity and its initiatives.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, 180,000 Ukrainians have been granted temporary protection in Bavaria, which is more than in some large EU countries. This once again underlines the scale of assistance provided by this Federal State to our citizens.

"Thank you for the constructive conversation and I look forward to further cooperation," the Deputy Prime Minister concluded.
