In July, Ukraine exported goods at over USD 3.3 billion
According to the State Customs Service, in July Ukraine exported goods to foreign markets at over USD 3.3 billion, which is by USD 167.8 million (5.4%) more than in June this year. In the first seven months of 2025, Ukrainian exports of goods amounted to over USD 23 billion.
Agricultural and food products remain Ukraine's main export category. In July, they reached USD 1.7 billion, accounting for more than half of total exports. Iron ore, certain types of machinery and metallurgy products also account for a significant share of exports. I
n terms of volume, Ukraine exported 8.2 million tonnes of goods in July, including 3.5 million tonnes of agricultural products. In addition, compared to June, the physical amount of goods transported by sea and road increased (+7.1% and +4.4% respectively), but the transport of goods by rail decreased (-1.5%).
In July, Ukraine exported the most in terms of value:
- sunflower oil (USD 537.9 million or 464,000 tonnes);
- iron ore and concentrates (USD 190.1 million or 3.0 million tonnes);
- wheat (USD 159.0 million or 732,800 tonnes);
- soybeans (USD 151.0 million or 375,200 tonnes);
- corn (USD 145.0 million or 617,700 tonnes);
- insulated wires (USD 108.2 million or 5,800 tonnes);
- poultry meat (USD 96.5 million or 34,100 tonnes).
The European Union remains Ukraine's key trading partner. In July, goods worth USD 1.9 billion were exported to EU countries (+10.1% compared to June this year). Poland (USD 405.9 million), the Netherlands (USD 201.8 million), Germany (USD 199.8 million), Spain (USD 161.4 million), and Italy (USD 142.5 million) were the largest consumers of Ukrainian products.
As for other countries, the largest consumers of Ukrainian exports were China (USD 212.4 million), Turkey (USD 149.2 million), India (USD 140.8 million), Egypt (USD 110.9 million), and Moldova (USD 100.3 million).
