Ukrainian farmers have harvested nearly 20 million tonnes of grains and legumes


As of August 8, 2025, Ukraine has already harvested 19,909,800 tonnes of early grains and legumes on an area of 5,299,500 hectares. 47% of the area sown with these crops has already been threshed.

In particular:

  • Wheat – 3,713,400 hectares threshed, 14,914,100 tonnes harvested;
  • Barley – 1,165,800 hectares threshed, 4,250,000 tonnes harvested;
  • Peas – 223,700 hectares threshed, 541,200 tonnes harvested;
  • Other grains and legumes were threshed on an area of 195,100 hectares, with 203,600 tonnes harvested.

Among the leaders, in particular:

  • Odessa region – 1,070,400 hectares threshed, 3,089,100 tonnes harvested;
  • Kirovograd region – 521,000 hectares threshed, 2,161,600 tonnes harvested.
  • Poltava region – 361,300 hectares threshed, 1,636,500 tonnes harvested.

2,538,200 tonnes of rapeseed have already been harvested on an area of 1,023,400 hectares.
