  • Pavlo Rozenko: The budget provides for the expenditure of UAH 2 billion on social programs for Chernobyl victims

     The state budget provides for the allocation of a sum worth UAH 2 billion for social protection of the citizens who suffered as a result of the Chernobyl disaster. Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko stated in an interview with TV Channel 5.

    "In 2018 the financial resources to the tune of UAH 2 billion are laid in the state budget for various payments and social programs to Chernobyl victims", Pavlo Rozenko said.

    "In general, these programs cover over 1 million 900 thousand people, in particular, liquidators of the Chernobyl  disaster and persons of equivalent status and those people who live in the contaminated territories ", the Vice Prime Minister underscored.
