GENERATION AND CONSUMPTION
No power outages are planned for today. For any changes in power supply, please visit the official websites of your regional power distribution companies.
We urge Ukrainians to continue to consume electricity economically and responsibly, especially during peak hours from 17:00 to 22:00.
Thanks to the efforts of power engineers, the situation in the power system remains stable, but significant damage caused by massive enemy attacks, including one of the largest attacks on the energy sector on 26 August, continues to complicate the operation of the power system. In addition, russian troops continue to shell energy infrastructure facilities on a daily basis.
Power engineers are working around the clock to eliminate the consequences of the most recent massive attack on the energy infrastructure. A large-scale repair campaign is underway to restore the stable operation of the power system and prepare for the autumn and winter period.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE SHELLING
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy attacked energy facilities in Dnipro, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions.
In Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, the shelling caused power outages at substations and consumers. The power supply has been partially restored.
In Donetsk region, several substations and a mine were cut off during the shelling. At the time of the incident, there were 74 workers in the mine, all of whom were brought to the surface.
In Chernihiv region, overhead lines were disconnected as a result of shelling, and 3,100 subscribers in 3 settlements lost power.
POWER OUTAGES FOR CONSUMERS
Over the past day, power companies restored power to 17,328 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities and technological disruptions.
In total, 538 settlements remain without power supply as of this morning due to hostilities and technical disruptions.
