Power generation and consumption
Electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. Commercial imports are also planned.
Two thermal power plant units were put out of service for emergency repairs, while a thermal power plant unit was connected to the grid after a short-term repair. There are 10 units of generating equipment in reserve to be used if necessary.
The system is balanced. No stabilisation outage schedules are planned.
Status of the grid
For technological reasons, an overhead line was disconnected in Donetsk region yesterday, which resulted in a power outage at one of the 330 kV substations.
Also in Donetsk region, a 110 kV overhead line was disconnected for technological reasons, which led to the disconnection of a 110 kV substation, a utility company and household consumers.
In Zhytomyr region, a 110 kV overhead line was disconnected for technological reasons. As a result, household consumers and local industry were left without electricity, and trains were disrupted. All consumers were supplied with power within an hour.
Import/export
