Due to grid restrictions, emergency power outage schedules were introduced on Ukrenergo’s lines in 6 regions; there is no electricity shortage
POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Yesterday in Ukraine, due to grid restrictions on Ukrenergo’s lines, emergency power outage schedules were introduced for several hours in Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kirovohrad, Poltava and Sumy regions. Grid restrictions are also possible during the current day.
Today, restrictions are being applied in Kharkiv region: 550,000 customers are without power, including about 330,000 in Kharkiv.
One unit of generating equipment was shut down for technological reasons at one of the thermal generation facilities.
At the same time, no shortage of electricity is expected. Ukraine’s power system is stable and balanced.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
In Chernihiv region, an overhead line was damaged as a result of shelling from the russian border, and 704 consumers in 5 settlements lost power.
Several overhead power lines were damaged by enemy shelling near the town of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region. Some of them have been restored. At the same time, a local solar power plant lost power.
In the southern region of Ukraine, an enemy drone attack damaged equipment at a high-voltage substation of NPC Ukrenergo.
EMERGENCIES
A fire broke out at a substation of NPC Ukrenergo in Odesa region during technological works. The fire was extinguished by the State Emergency Service.

SITUATION AT ZNPP
The 330 kV overhead line “Zaporizhzhia TPP-Ferosplavna”, which is a backup power source for the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP, remains de-energised. The plant is powered by a single 750 kV line.
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.50 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.
IMPORT/EXPORT
For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 6,776 MWh. No exports are expected.
