About 145,000 consumers in Dnipropetrovsk region lost power due to bad weather; a mine in Donetsk region lost power due to a thunderstorm, with 135 workers underground
POWER GENERATION AND CONSUMPTION
Due to network constraints on the transmission system operator’s lines, outage schedules were applied in Kharkiv region, and the restrictions are still in effect today.
During the evening peak hours, electricity was supplied from Romania and Poland.
The Ukrainian power system is currently operating in a stable and balanced manner.
CONSEQUENCES OF BAD WEATHER
In the evening, a high-voltage line in Dnipropetrovsk region was disconnected due to bad weather. The line was quickly reconnected. In the evening, the consumers were reconnected.
In the city of Dnipro, equipment at a high-voltage substation went out of order, and household consumers lost power, which was restored within half an hour.
An overhead power line in Donetsk region was disconnected due to severe weather conditions, which cut off power to household consumers and a mine (135 workers were brought to the surface).
