The Government will accelerate efforts to meet commitments under the Ukraine Facility in order to secure the maximum possible amount of financing from partners. This is a critically needed resource for the country. Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi emphasized this during a meeting with ministers responsible for specific areas.

Government officials thoroughly analyzed the current situation and identified which commitments have already been fulfilled, which are overdue, where the problem areas lie, and how to resolve those. They also considered steps that already pose a risk of under‑receiving funds.

“We must now close commitments and fulfill the conditions of the third quarter. The Government must work proactively and ensure every possible inflow of external assistance,” stressed Sergii Koretskyi.

According to him, on the outcomes of the meeting, specific instructions were given with deadlines and responsible officials assigned for each problematic area.

As of today, Ukraine has already attracted EUR 29.5 billion out of the EUR 46.8 billion envisaged by the Ukraine Plan.
