Sergii Koretskyi discusses expanding defence cooperation with French Ambassador to Ukraine Brice Roquefeuil

Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi discussed expanding defence cooperation with French Ambassador to Ukraine Brice Roquefeuil, particularly strengthening Ukraine’s air defences and aviation capabilities.

“Economic cooperation and support for Ukrainian manufacturers in the European market were another key focus,” the Prime Minister said. “France continues to play an important role in Ukraine’s path to EU membership, particularly in securing the swift opening of the remaining negotiating clusters.”

The two sides also discussed using frozen russian assets to support Ukraine and further increasing sanctions pressure on russia.

Sergii Koretskyi thanked France for its leadership in the Coalition of the Willing and its steadfast support for Ukraine.
