Development of the Unity Network: Ilona Gavronska met with representatives of Ukrainian organizations in Warsaw
As part of a working visit to EU countries, Ilona Gavronska, Deputy Minister of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine for European Integration, together with the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Poland, held a meeting with representatives of Ukrainian civil society organizations in Warsaw.
The meeting was attended by representatives of leading Ukrainian initiatives and civil society organizations working with the community in Poland in the areas of social support, education, advocacy, cultural diplomacy, and information assistance.
The key topic of the meeting was the discussion of the concept of the Unity Network and the possibility of joining it for existing civil society initiatives in Poland.
"Ukrainian civil society organizations abroad are an important support for our people and, at the same time, reliable partners of the state. They work with our citizens on a daily basis, helping Ukrainians to integrate and, at the same time, maintain ties with Ukraine. It is important for us to develop this cooperation, strengthen coordination, and create joint support tools so that our citizens, regardless of their country of residence, remain part of Ukrainian society and have access to the necessary information and services," said Ilona Gavronska.
In addition, representatives of civil society organizations presented their initiatives, discussed current challenges for Ukrainians in Poland, and explored opportunities for strengthening cooperation with Ukrainian state institutions.
The meeting was a step towards further deepening cooperation between the Ministry and Ukrainian organizations in Poland. Participants agreed to continue working together to develop joint initiatives aimed at supporting our citizens and strengthening the unity of the Ukrainian community abroad.
