Distinguished colleagues, fellow Ukrainians.
This month we have several landmark events that will change Ukraine and our place in the world.
The first is the Peace Summit. It is a unique event that paves the way for a just peace.
The second is the start of negotiations on Ukraine's accession to the EU.
On 25 June, we will hold the EU-Ukraine Intergovernmental Conference, which marks the formal start of negotiations on our accession.
Then we will enter into detailed technical negotiations on dozens of different chapters of the future agreement.
At the same time, we continue our integration into the EU in all areas.
Yesterday, Ukraine and the EU extended the 'transport visa-free regime'. This is an agreement on the liberalisation of freight transport, which eliminated the need to obtain permits for such transport.
We have agreed that the visa-free regime will be extended for a year, but with the possibility of automatic prolongation until the end of 2025.
We will work further to ensure that both the transport visa-free regime and the trade visa-free regime operate on a permanent basis.
This week, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy also signed a law on a single roaming area with the EU.
This is part of the roaming visa-free regime, allowing Ukrainians in the EU to use their mobile tariffs at no extra cost.
Ukraine is the first and so far the only EU candidate country to join the EU Roam Like at Home policy.
We are grateful to our European partners for their support, boosting our economy and our State.
We are also grateful for the important steps taken to weaken the russian economy.
Yesterday, the EU ambassadors agreed on the 14th package of sanctions against russia. This will be the first such strike against the aggressor's gas industry. In addition, a number of ways to escape pre-existing sanctions are being shut down.
Step by step, we will drive the enemy out of the international financial system and international trade.

Another priority of the Government is to strengthen our country from within.
This means providing for the army, macroeconomic stability, social protection of our citizens and the sustainability of our energy sector.
We have relevant decisions on the agenda today.
First. We are to approve the draft law on the Unified Information System of the Social Sphere. We will determine the legal basis for the operation of such a system, which is the foundation for the provision of social support in our country.
In addition, the Government will create a Unified Social Register containing various databases and information on recipients of all types of social assistance provided by the State.
This will allow us to better target support to our citizens who really need it and increase the efficiency of the use of budget funds.
Today, the Government is also adopting a decision to allocate UAH 1 billion for the purchase of school buses. The funds will be distributed as a subvention to the regions.
Another decision we adopt today is a procedure for using the funds of the State Fund for Decarbonisation and Energy-Efficient Transformation.
It is an additional programme for energy efficiency and strengthening the sustainability of Ukraine's power system worth UAH 759 million.
What will these funds be used for? First of all, to reduce interest rates on loans for the implementation of energy efficiency projects and the installation of alternative energy sources facilities.
The Government is expanding the possibility of obtaining concessional loans so that businesses and people can reduce electricity consumption or create an additional source for its generation.
I thank you all for your work. I thank everyone who defends, works, cures, educates and restores Ukraine.
Thank you for your attention. Glory to Ukraine!
