
Prime Minister: For the first time ever, broadband Internet access infrastructure appeared in more than 2,000 rural settlements
The number of citizens using public e-services during the year increased from 53% to 60%. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the Question Time for the Government in the Verkhovna Rada on December 17.
"In 2021, more than 20 e-services were added to the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services Portal Diia. 15 new services and 6 new digital documents, including domestic and international COVID certificates appeared in Diia app," Denys Shmyhal said.
The Head of Government added that more than 30 electronic services for businesses and individuals are currently available on the Dija e-portal, and business registration services are among the fastest in the world.
"The development of Centers for Administrative Services Provision (CASPs) is an important area of work to expand the convenience and accessibility of public services. Its network has doubled to 2,700 access points: 1,020 centers, 1,527 remote work place, 120 territorial subdivisions, 28 mobile centers," the PM underscored.
As Denys Shmyhal stressed, in order to enable the highest number of Ukrainians use e-services, broadband Internet access infrastructure has appeared for the first time in more than 2,000 rural settlements. About 700,000 people were given the technical opportunity to connect to a quality network. For the first time, more than 5,000 social infrastructure facilities have been connected to high-speed Internet.
