Prime Minister announces during 2020-2021, there were built and renovated more than 10,000 km of roads, 560 bridges, almost 400 schools and kindergartens

Next year, Ukraine plans to implement ambitious projects, including the construction of the Krakovets-Brody-Rivne concession highway. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the Question Time for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada on December 17.

"The lack of such roads for 30 years is an economic crime against our State. The construction of the autobahn should be the first example of public-private partnership in the sector of construction and exploitation of road infrastructure," said the Prime Minister.

Denys Shmyhal emphasized that Ukraine was actively implementing the President's Large Construction program. In 2020-2021 alone, more than 10,000 kilometers of roads, 560 bridges, nearly 400 schools and kindergartens, 25 swimming pools, 193 stadiums, 201 emergency departments and 600 rural clinics were either built or renovated.
