Government extends special preferential gas price until 30 April 2025: Denys Shmyhal

The Government exerts every effort to ensure that every Ukrainian home has light and heating this winter. At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on 23 August, the Government extended the special preferential gas price for heat producers and household consumers. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.
"Not a single day goes by without decisions, work and preparation for the heating season. This winter is going to be quite challenging. Despite 24/7 repairs and restoration, we still have so many damaged energy facilities," the Head of Government noted.
According to the Prime Minister, the decision to prolong the special preferential gas price will be valid until 30 April 2025, i.e. until the end of the upcoming heating season.
