Germany is contributing EUR 60 million to the Ukraine Energy Support Fund to strengthen the resilience of our critical infrastructure. The funding will help speed up the delivery of generators, energy equipment, and mobile thermal power plants. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko thanked German Minister for Energy, Katherina Reiche, for this decision at a meeting where, among other things, they discussed Ukraine's preparations for winter and strengthening energy resilience.

"We agreed to establish a joint energy working group and expand industrial cooperation. In December, Berlin will host the Ukrainian–German Business Forum, a platform for building new partnerships between our companies," the Head of Government said.

The Ukrainian side proposed that Germany conclude an intergovernmental agreement to support investors, based on the model already adopted by Denmark, the Netherlands, France, and Switzerland.

The Prime Minister of Ukraine thanked Germany for its active position on the use of frozen russian assets.

“Today, macro-financial support remains vital — and our German partners consistently back every initiative aimed at directing these assets to help Ukraine and bring victory, and peace, closer,” said Yulia Svyrydenko.
