Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko: Restoration of the power grid continues throughout the country, with a special focus on Kyiv and frontline regions
Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko held a daily energy conference call with key ministries and heads of regional military administrations.
According to her, the restoration of the power grid continues throughout the country. The situation remains most complicated in Kyiv city, Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions.
Currently, more than 160 teams of energy workers, utility workers, and railway workers, including those sent from other regions, are working around the clock to restore electricity and heat.
During the conference call, special attention was paid to providing the capital with alternative energy sources and distributed generation facilities. The Government is committed to provide all the necessary support.
“We expect active work from the Kyiv city authorities. There should be no obstacles or delays in connecting,” Yulia Svyrydenko emphasized.
The Prime Minister also stressed that the Government had created all the necessary conditions for the rapid and unhindered connection of distributed generation facilities. A single window for business inquiries is available on the Pulse platform — pulse.gov.ua.
“The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture, the Ministry of Energy, and the NEURC are ready to provide maximum assistance,” added the Head of Government..
