Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal held a meeting on the implementation of the digitalisation reform with representatives of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada, the National Agency for Civil Service, the Reforms Delivery Office and other stakeholders.
“Effective digital state. One of the Government’s ten priorities for this year. There are three key areas. The first is the digitalisation of services for citizens and businesses. The second is an efficient state apparatus that operates according to modern models and approaches. The third is the effective management of state property, which includes the continuation of privatisation and corporate governance reform,” the Head of Government said.
The Prime Minister noted that more than 20 new electronic services had been launched in Diia since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. According to the Head of Government, the Ministry of Digital Transformation is actively working on the same number of projects for this year, including car customs clearance in Diia, eExcise, expanding the functionality of eCherha and eVidnovlennia, etc.
“We are also continuing to work on the creation of the Government Centre to eliminate duplication of functions at the ministerial level. We will develop the HRMIS system, which will improve human resources management in government agencies,” said Denys Shmyhal.
According to the Prime Minister, digitalisation will affect absolutely all areas. The Government’s strategic goal is to digitise all key services for businesses and citizens: “This will fundamentally change the quality of our institutions and eliminate the scope for abuse. At the same time, it will optimise the work of all government agencies.”
