By blowing up the dam of the Kakhovka HPP, russia has committed a war crime and must be held accountable. This was emphasised by Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko in a comment to a media outlet.
“Some 20,000 households in Kherson region are without electricity. People have lost their homes, have limited access to clean water and food, and nature has suffered irreparable damage. This is a war crime that can be qualified as the use of weapons of mass destruction under the Geneva Convention. They (the russians – ed.) must be punished for all their crimes,” emphasised German Galushchenko.
