More than UAH 335 million allocated to provide housing for family-type children's homes

The Government has adopted an order, developed by the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity, on distributing a subvention from the state budget to local budgets to provide housing for family-type children's homes in 2026.

The total amount allocated is UAH 335.36 million. The funds will go toward public investment projects in 11 regions of Ukraine that submitted applications and identified relevant needs.

The main goal of the decision is to support family-type children's homes and create proper, comfortable conditions for raising orphans and children deprived of parental care in a family environment.

The funding comes from funds already provided for in the 2026 State Budget, so the decision requires no additional budget expenditures.

As a reminder, the Government approved the procedure for providing the subvention for housing for family-type children's homes.
