Over 2.5 million applications for the “winter support thousand” submitted via Diia, including more than 300,000 for children

More than 300,000 applications for the “winter support thousand” via Diia have been submitted for children. In total, in just over a day, more than 2.5 million Ukrainians have already submitted applications.

“The pace and volume of applications clearly demonstrate the timeliness and necessity of this support programme. From Tuesday, the option to submit applications via Ukrposhta will also be fully operational. The Government of Ukraine will ensure full funding for the programme,” stated President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

As a reminder, parents or guardians can submit an application via Diia for a child’s “thousand” if the child’s birth certificate is displayed in the app.

How to add the birth certificate:

  • Scroll through your digital documents in the app.
  • On the last card, tap “Add document”.
  • Select “Child’s birth certificate”.
  • Enter the series and number of the certificate.

If the certificate does not load despite verified data, contact the Civil Registration Office. If the issue persists, submit a written application at a Ukrposhta branch from 18 November.
