A meeting of the Coordination Headquarters for Ensuring the Rights and Freedoms of Internally Displaced Persons was held under the chairmanship of Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories.

The participants discussed issues related to living conditions and integration into communities of internally displaced persons.

According to the Ministry of Social Policy, as of 31 May, the arrears of housing allowances to IDPs have been fully repaid.

The regional military administrations also reported on the status of the establishment of Coordination and Advisory Centres in the regions. As a reminder, the first such centre has already started working in Mykolaiv.

In addition, the regional military administrations reported on the progress of preparing programmes to support internally displaced persons.

"We must not only adhere to the IDP Strategy, but also respond to new challenges. No IDP can be left without payments and social support," said Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk.
