The meeting participants also reviewed plans for the development of preschool education.

The issue of maximising the return of children to offline schools was also raised. The Prime Minister stressed that in order to improve safety in educational institutions, the Government has allocated UAH 6.2 billion for shelters.
"We are also working to improve the quality and accessibility of education. This year, we are allocating funds to equip laboratories in schools. We distribute more than UAH 2 billion to continue the reform of the New Ukrainian School, and UAH 1.2 billion to modernise canteens," said Denys Shmyhal.
Special attention was paid to vocational education. According to the Head of Government, this year funds will be alotted to equip workshops in colleges. Another topic of discussion was the introduction of grants for dual education following the example of European states.
Legislative initiatives to expand state financial support for higher education were also on the agenda.
"Last year, we provided UAH 143.5 million in grants to more than 13,000 applicants. We will continue this practice to ensure that talented and motivated young people have the opportunity to get the education they need," said Denys Shmyhal.
