During his working visit to the EU, Oleksiy Chernyshov met with representatives of the Council of Europe

During his working visit to the European Union, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of National Unity of Ukraine Oleksiy Chernyshov held a series of meetings with representatives of the Council of Europe (CoE).

In particular, the Deputy Prime Minister met with Mathieu Maury, Secretary General of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of the Council of Europe.

The parties discussed further support for Ukraine by the Congress. In particular, they considered the involvement of community and regional authorities in supporting Ukrainians, including in the context of establishing Unity Hubs in Europe.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine also met with the Council of Europe Commissioner for Human Rights Michael O'Flaherty. During the meeting, they discussed a strategic document on Ukraine, which is currently being developed by the Commissioner's team.

“We agreed to continue our joint work, which may result in the reflection of the priorities of the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine in this document,” said Oleksiy Chernyshov.

The Deputy Prime Minister thanked the European partners for their support of Ukraine.
