On June 19 in Lviv, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal visited the Superhumans Center, which specializes in prosthetics, rehabilitation, reconstructive surgery, hearing restoration and psychological support for Ukrainians affected by the war.

The Head of Government, together with Minister of Health Viktor Liashko and Head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maksym Kozytskyi, got familiarized with the work of the Center, which has been operating for more than two years under the patronage of First Lady Olena Zelenska and in close cooperation with the Ministry of Health.

“During this time, the Center has taken a leading position in dealing with complex cases and in the number of prostheses installed,” said Denys Shmyhal.

He also talked to doctors and patients undergoing rehabilitation.

"Due to the brutal russian aggression, many Ukrainians, unfortunately, have suffered severe injuries and amputations. The development and expansion of such centers in the regions is becoming extremely important," the Prime Minister emphasized.

He noted that with the support of the Government of the Netherlands, Superhumans had been opened this month in Dnipro, and by the end of the year, with the support of the Government of France, a similar center was planned to be opened in Odesa.

"We are grateful to all our partners who invest in the development of this area in Ukraine. Thanks to this support, thousands of Ukrainians are getting a second chance at life," the Head of Government emphasized.
