Pavlo Rozenko: From January 1, pensions for two categories of citizens will be increased

From January 1, 2019, another recalculation of pensions for military pensioners will be carried out. Also, the size of the pension from January 1 will increase for those who have reached the age of 65 and have a long service record . This was stated by Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel.

"From January 1, another recalculation of the pension for servicemen will be made. Also, starting from January 1, a new retirement pension program will be launched, which will affect those citizens who turned 65 and have a career record of 35 years - for men, 30 years - for women. This is about 2 million retirees," Pavlo Rozenko emphasized.

The Vice Prime Minister recalled that pensions for other categories of citizens will be increased from March 1, 2019. "The largest recalculation of pensions, which will affect about 11 million citizens, will be made from March 1, 2019. This will be modernization of pensions according to new wages, "the Vice Prime Minister stressed, adding that increase in pensions will be between 15% and 40%.
