
Pavlo Rozenko took part in the meeting of the MIP Board
On July 30, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko took part in a meeting of the Ministry of Information Policy of Ukraine Board.
Opening the meeting, the Vice Prime Minister noted that one of the recent landmark events was the adoption by the Government of the Strategy for Information Integration of Donetsk and Luhansk Regions. "Just the previous week, the Government unanimously supported this Strategy developed by the Ministry of Information Policy, which triggers a number of essential mechanisms for work in the information sector", Pavlo Rozenko said.
The Vice Prime Minister reminded that in the East of Ukraine two TV towers had begun operating - atop Karachun and in Bakhmutovka. "Of these, 24 Ukrainian TV channels and radio stations broadcast providing Ukrainian content, including to the cities of Donetsk and Luhansk", stressed the Vice Prime Minister.
Pavlo Rozenko also commended the work on promotion of Ukraine in the world, the growth of the number of cable television providers offering the International broadcasting multimedia platform of Ukraine. Today there are over 90, in particular in Poland, Georgia, Sweden, Denmark, Slovenia, Canada, etc.
"Last week the presentation of the new single brand of Ukraine in London took place, where recently the film" Thank you" was shown and had success. In particular, this film has taken second place at the international festival of tourist films in Latvia", said Pavlo Rozenko.
"The Ministry has already done quite a lot of work, but ahead even more tasks need to be carried out even much quicker", summed up the Vice Prime Minister.
