The funds necessary for the payment of monetized subsidies are included in the State Budget of Ukraine and there won’t be problems with payment of subsidies in cash. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko during a meeting with workers of social sphere and representatives of local communities in Cherkasy region.

"From March 1, the payment of monetized subsidies started that is the final stage of reforming the system of subsidies, when we will get rid of the system of mutual settlements which caused a lot of questions. The system becomes simpler and more transparent. Some forces are trying to speculate on this issue by saying that there is not enough money for payment. I want to emphasize that the funds for the payment of monetized subsidies are laid down in the state budget. All necessary funds will be timely allocated", Pavlo Rozenko stressed.

The Deputy Prime Minister urged local authorities to take a number of steps in organizing work on monetization of subsidies. "This should be a co-ordinated work of both local social security  and "Oschadbank"departments in order to avoid any tension, nervousness and queues, to ensure the possibility of obtaining a subsidy in any department of "Oschadbank" by presenting only the passport and ID code ", he said.

Moreover, Pavlo Rozenko called on representatives of local authorities to raise awareness among people about the fact that the subsidy is a target payment which, first of all, should be used for payment of housing and communal services, and after recipients of subisies can use money saved at their own discretion.
