Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko believes that among the main results of reforms in the social sphere and a decentralization reform are the availability of all kinds of social services for people. The top official said during a working visit to Volyn.

"I am greatly pleased that today when we talk about reforms within the state, those are neither mere words nor slides in the presentations of officials, those are real results: new out-patient clinics, new centers of social services, new quality of services. Reforms are already tangible for the people today", the Deputy Prime Minister said.

Among the recent positive developments in the social protection system, Pavlo Rozenko called pension increases, monetization of subsidies and the introduction of new additional payments to large families.

"In general, throughout Ukraine, more than 2.5 million people have received a monthly increase in pensions by over UAH 1,000. Monetization of subsidies yields results - people get a real resource that they can save and, after paying for housing and utilities, use to satisfy their own needs. I am very pleased that the results of reforms are already tangible today, at the same time, we aren’t going to fold hands, but we are working to make them even more effective", said the Deputy Prime Minister.

During the visit, Pavlo Rozenko held a meeting with the regional leadership on the implementation of the social initiatives of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and the Government on monetization of subsidies, indexation of pensions and benefits for large families, inspected a number of new buildings and rural clinics in Lutsk and Volodymyr-Volynsky areas, and talked to the residents.
