Cash and non-cash subsidy mechanisms will continue to work. Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine Andrii Reva stated during the Question Time for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada on April 12, 2019.

He stressed that the Government did not make interim decisions, the process of monetization of subsidies is stipulated by the Law of Ukraine "On Housing and Communal Services", and the mechanism of monetization is provided for by two Government decrees.

"Non-cash and cash subsidies monetization mechanisms will be further in effect. The adopted Budget of Ukraine contains sufficient funding to secure payment of both cash and non-cash subsidies. Upon completion of the heating season, both subsidy mechanisms will be in effect", Andrii Reva said and added that those people who pay scrupulously for housing and communal services will receive subsidies in ready money, cash subsidies will continue to be paid without any restrictions; regarding those who will have a debt, after paying the debt or restructuring the debt, they will receive a subsidy in non-cash form during the year.

The official also said that the Ministry of Social Policy would be able to provide information about the results of the effectiveness of the decisions on monetization of subsidies by July 1, 2019, when the results of this stage of monetization of subsidies were summed up.
