  • Hennadii Zubko: Over the first quarter of 2019 local budget revenues increased up to UAH 60.4 billion

    As of the first quarter of 2019, the general fund of local budgets of Ukraine increased by UAH 8.9 billion (+17.2%) compared to the same period in 2018, and made up UAH 60.4 billion. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing and Utilities of Ukraine Hennadii Zubko.

    In particular, the personal income tax (PIT) payment amounted to UAH 35.9 billion, which is UAH 23 billion more than last year. The highest rates of growth of PIT payments  were recorded in Donetsk (31.9%), Kyiv (28.2%) and Vinnytsia (26.2 %) regions.

    The land payment made up UAH 7.6 billion, that is by 23% or UAH 1.4 billion more than in 2018. The highest rates of growth  were provided by Zakarpattia (51.3%), Luhansk (40.3%), and Dnipropetrovsk (39.6%) regions.

    The revenue surplus from single tax amounted to UAH 8.8 billion (increased by UAH 1.6 billion or 22.8%).

    At the same time, as of 1 March 2019, the balance of local budgets of Ukraine in the general fund amounted to UAH 46 billion (as of 1 January 2019 - UAH 31.8 billion), including UAH 41.9 billion on treasury accounts, and UAH 4.1 billion – on deposit accounts.
