Day 403 of the russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine continues.

During day of April 2, the adversary launched 5x missile, 22x air strikes, more than 42x MLRS attacks at the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian infrastructure in various settlements.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high, as the enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war, and use terror tactics against civilians. Today, the russian invaders launched 2x missile strikes and massive MLRS shelling that targeted the central part of the city of Kostyantynivka (Donetsk oblast). These criminal actions of the occupiers killed and wounded civilians, damaged a kindergarten, high-rise buildings, and private homes.

The adversary continues to focus its main efforts on the offensive operations on Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mar’inka axes. The towns of Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mar’inka remain at the epicenter of the fighting. Owing to the heroism and professionalism of Ukrainian soldiers, their skillful and coordinated actions, and effective maneuvering, the units of Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled more than 50x enemy attacks during the day of April 2.

Volyn, Polissya, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna axes: no significant changes.

During the day of April 2, the adversary shelled the settlements of Volfyne, Basivka, Ryasne, Mezenivka (Sumy oblast), Veterynarne, Hatyshche, Velykyi Burluk, and Kolodyazne (Kharkiv oblast).

Kup’yans’k axis: Kam’yanka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masyutivka, Krokhmal’ne (Kharkiv oblast), and Novoselivs’ke (Luhansk oblast) came under enemy fire.

Lyman axis: during the day of April 2, the adversary attempted to advance in the vicinities of Bilohorivka and Verkhn’okam’yans’ke, to no success. Nevs’ke, Bilohorivka (Luhansk oblast), Tors’ke, Spirne, and Rozdolivka (Donetsk oblast) were shelled with artillery.

Bakhmut axis: the enemy has not stopped its assault of Bakhmut. However, Ukrainian defenders are courageously holding the city as they repel numerous enemy attacks. During the day of April 2, the invaders conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in Ivanivske (Donetsk oblast). The russian forces shelled Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, and New York (Donetsk oblast).

Avdiivka and Mar’inka axes: the adversary conducted offensive operations in the vicinities of Avdiivka, Pervomais’ke, and Maryinka. None of them were successful. The invaders shelled the settlements of Avdiivka, Orlivka, Tonen’ke, Netaylove, Krasnohorivka, and Mar’inka (Donetsk oblast).

Shakhtars’ke axis: during the day of April 2, the enemy shelled Pobjeda, Novomykhailivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, and Velyka Novosilka (Donetsk oblast).

Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes: with no active operations, the adversary was improving its defensive lines and positions. In particular, the enemy shelled Novopil’ (Donetsk oblast), Ol’hivs’ke, Chervone, Hulyaipole, Bilohir’ya, Novoandriivka (Zaporizhzhia oblast), Dudchany, Zmiivka, Beryslav, Vesele, Mykolaivka, Burhunka, Antonivka (Kherson oblast), and the city of Kherson.

The russian invaders continue to suffer huge losses. In order to replenish them, military units of the russian federation’s armed forces stationed in the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea are actively subjecting their conscripts to an outreach program. The conscripts are told about the need to sign contracts with the russian ministry of defense and take part in combat in Ukraine.

During the day of April 2, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 8x air strikes on the concentrations of occupants’ personnel and military equipment. In the meantime, missile and artillery units hit 1x concentration of manpower, 1x command post, and 2x other important targets of the enemy.
