Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection
The number of vaccinated persons from COVID-19 from the beginning of the campaign makes up 8,760,924. On October 22, 2021, 289,468 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 94,078 - CoronaVac vaccine, 143,186 – Comirnaty vaccine, 52,204 – AstraZeneka, Janssen – 0, Moderna – 0.
Vaccination was carried out by 1,065 mobile immunization teams, 3,169 vaccination points and 373 vaccination centers.
During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 5,362 persons, 483 patients died, 8,330 persons recovered. There have been conducted 137,624 testings (72,808 using the PCR method,
17,738 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 47,078).
During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:
- 2,748, 614persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
- 2,369,695 people recovered;
- 63,486 people died;
- 13,927,353 testings have been conducted.
