Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 15, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 1,045 (46 children out of this number, 23 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 1,831,147 people have been vaccinated.

On June 16, 2021, 62,591 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 160 people got CoviShield vaccine, 17,062 – CoronaVac vaccine, 20,506– Comirnaty vaccine, 24,863 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 699 persons, 78 patients died, 4,802 persons recovered. There have been conducted 58,853 testings (28,321 using the PCR method, 9,718 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 20,814).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

2,226,037 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;

2,140,978 people recovered;

51,847 people died;

10,576,820 testings have been conducted.
