  • Update on the spread and prevention of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of November 3, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 27,377 (1,787 children out of this number, 426 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 18,578,609 vaccines have been made.

    Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 10,895,720 people have been vaccinated. On November 3, 2021, 299,272 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 131,489 – CoronaVac vaccine, 134,768 – Comirnaty vaccine, 33,015 – AstraZeneka, 0– Janssen, Moderna – 0

    Vaccination was carried out by 1,082 mobile immunization teams, 3,254 vaccination points and 421 vaccination centers.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 5,472 persons, 699 patients died, 12,464 persons recovered. There have been conducted 155,405 testings (72,918 using the PCR method, 22,294 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 60,193).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    • 3,006,463 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
    • 2,479,138 people recovered;
    • 70,146 people died;
    • 14,658,956 testings have been conducted.
