Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 17, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 1,188 (62 children out of this number, 6 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 1,907,685 people have been vaccinated.

On June 16, 2021, 76,538 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 210 people got CoviShield vaccine, 19,864 – CoronaVac vaccine, 33,256– Comirnaty vaccine, 23,208 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 601 persons, 55 patients died, 4,682 persons recovered. There have been conducted 55,296 testings (27,036 using the PCR method, 10,538 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 17,722).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

2,227,225 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;

2,145,660 people recovered;

51,902 people died;

10,603,856 testings have been conducted.
