  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 11, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 1,014 (43 children out of this number, 51 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 1,768,556 people have been vaccinated.

    On June 15, 2021, 50,057 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 230 people got CoviShield vaccine, 14,171 – CoronaVac vaccine, 16,058 – Comirnaty vaccine, 19,598 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 401 persons, 77 patients died, 5,511 persons recovered. There have been conducted 54,732 testings (32,313 using the PCR method, 10,428 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 11,991).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    2,224,992 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;

    2,136,176 people recovered;

    51,769 people died;

    10,548,499 testings have been conducted.
