  • Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

    According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of June 9, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 1,385 (57 children out of this number, 74 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection.

    The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 1,489,446 people have been vaccinated.

    On June 9, 2021, 53,16people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 480 people got CoviShield vaccine, 23,396 – CoronaVac vaccine, 22,655 – Comirnaty vaccine, 6,630 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

    During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 756 persons, 77 patients died, 6,952 persons recovered. There have been conducted 60,620 testings (25,344 using the PCR method, 11,463 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 23,813).

    During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

    2,218,039 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;

    2,108,684 people recovered;

    51,410 people died;

    10,405,577 testing have been conducted.
