Update on the spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection

According to the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of July 5, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 541 (26 children out of this number, 11 healthcare workers) new cases of COVID-19 infection).

The COVID-19 vaccination campaign started on February 24, 2021. Since the beginning of the immunization campaign, 2,998,614 people have been vaccinated.

On July 4, 2021, 73,234 people were vaccinated against COVID-19. Of this number 0 people got CoviShield vaccine, 29,392 - CoronaVac vaccine, 30,020 – Comirnaty vaccine, 13,822 – AstraZeneka, Janssen - 0.

During the last 24 hours, there have been hospitalized 266 persons, 20 patients died, 1,086 persons recovered. There have been conducted 40,517 testings (20,151 using the PCR method, 8,271 using the ELISA method and research by rapid tests for antigen to SARS-CoV-2 – 12,095).

During the entire pandemic in Ukraine:

  • 2,238,364 persons contracted COVID-19 infection;
  • 2,172,687 people recovered;
  • 52,504 people died;
  • 10,945,216 testings have been conducted.
