According to the data of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as of September 9, 2,551 new COVID-19 cases have been confirmed.

In total, in Ukraine there have been officially confirmed 143,030 COVID-19 cases, 64,703 people recovered, 2,979 patients died. A total of 1,751, 931 samples in Ukraine were tested using PCR method.
During the 24 hours, 1,157  people have recovered.

As of September 9, coronavirus disease was registered:

Vinnytsia region – 4,503 cases;

Volyn region – 6,015 cases;

Dnipropetrovsk region – 2,923 cases;

Donetsk region – 1,762 cases;

Zhytomyr region – 3,879 cases;

Zakarpattia region – 8,277 cases;

Zaporizhia region – 2,041 cases;

Ivano-Frankivsk region – 10,659 cases;

Kirovohrad region - 870 cases;

Kyiv – 15,821 cases;

Kyiv region – 6,459 cases;

Lviv region – 16,269 cases;

Luhansk region – 480 cases;

Mykolaiv region – 1,714 cases;

Odesa region – 8,827 cases;

Poltava region – 1,018 cases;

Rivne region – 9,943 cases;

Sumy region – 2,143 cases;

Ternopil region – 7,824 cases;

Kharkiv region – 11,493 cases;

Kherson region – 538 cases;

Khmelnytsky region – 3,355 cases;

Chernivtsi region – 11,581 cases;

Cherkasy region – 2,121 cases;

Chernihiv region – 2,515 cases.

Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available. The studies were conducted by the Virology Reference Laboratory of the Public Health Center of Ukraine, as well as by regional laboratories.
